By using this web site and creating an account to order contact lenses you agree and accept the following terms and conditions.

1. All customers who order contact lenses must have a valid, up to date contact lens prescription. You agree that your contact lens prescription is under 12 months old.
2. When one wears contact lenses most optometrists recommend a yearly follow up examination. You agree that you have attended all follow up appointments recommended by your optometrist as well as any other examinations recommended by your optometrist.
3. All customers placing an order with Birkenhead Optometrists give permission to Birkenhead Optometrists to contact their optometrist to request a copy of their contact lens prescription.
4. Contact lenses may be harmful to your eyes. You agree that these contact lenses are prescribed for you and that you are not experiencing any eye discomfort or other signs of any eye infection. You further agree that you are cleaning your contact lenses in the manner instructed by your optometrist and with the solutions recommended.
5. You agree that the information you have supplied is correct and accurate.
6. Birkenhead Optometrists reserves the right to cancel any order and not to supply contact lenses. If your order is cancelled you will not be charged.
7. If contact lenses are returned unopened in their original condition within 30 days of despatch a full refund will be given.
8. If a contact lens is defective and this is confirmed by the manufacturer, this lens will be replaced at no charge.
9. All parties agree that this agreement and any dispute s arising are governed by the Laws of New Zealand.
10. Shipping: We only deliver within New Zealand. Shipping times may vary. If there is a delay in shipping you will be notified by e-mail.
